Soccer World Cup
June was a very busy month !
It's beginning of 19 th Soccer World Cup, and for the first time on the African continent, in South Africa.
32 nations are selected , USA is out of the competition now. The US team was defeated in overtime by Ghana after a hard-fought game. ...
It's the "great party" for football and in France, but also everywhere in the world peple are very fanatic and watch the matches on TV... and so do each day.
As some teams are eliminated the remaining competition becomes more strenuous and exciting.

1st ONE
One evening I was in my room, on the balcony, and I heard a strange noise outside , looking right and left... nothing! , Then, looking to the sky !... Oh my God some gigantic balloons hover just above the Loire river... I watched them for awhile and go back to my room... when another noise, closer, caught my attention... a glimpse to the sky revealed nothing, but the noise was really close, like, in the garden !... I grab my camera and get down to the garden .
Noise was strong and very close, after few steps I can see the balloons in the fields very nearby ! What a great surprise !

2nd ONE
A warm June afternoon, I went out of the living room onto the terrasse and swimming pool... and a surprise was there, only a few steps away... 2 snakes, big snakes under the sun, on the warm stones, without noise, I went back inside, took my camera and here are the photos of these "nice animals" !! But soon they took off! and I let them go, seeking their homes in the fields !! Much too frightened, I'm sure !
